You Know, Like, Nya?

I continue to sleep poorly and it's grating on my nerves. The time spent falling asleep is, in my opinion, (typically) one of the best parts of any day. Apologies to the insomniacs, but I love it. I feel like a basking lizard. Now, I spend my nights painfully aware of how night is passing by, the endless littany of "not this shit again, god." I feel bad for my sister. How do people actually live with sleep issues long term?

In happier news - my uncle brought his no-longer-kitten over today. It's been a fair while since I saw her last, and back then, I could hold her in one hand like a beanbag. Now? God, she's huge. Ridiculously tall and just as long, she towers over my (teeny-tiny darling of a) cat. They look insane together. Unfortunately, while his cat is a sweetheart, my own is what might might affectionately be called a "spoiled brat" who spent the entire visit backing her guest into corners and trapping her. I raised you! From kittenhood! You'll soon be old enough to attend nursery, and you won't play nice with your cousin? This is all false outrage; I would let that terrible, terrible girl away with murder. And you would too, if you could see her.
