Back To The Future

Today wasn't great, so instead of talking about that, I'll talk about a couple days ago when I was too tired to write it up.

Went to Helensburgh with my parents and my sister. Let her spend an exorbitant amount of money on crystals - gemstones, minerals, whatever the specifics are - fluorite and some weird type of quartz. Ate indoors, sat near the water to eat ice cream because what is poor weather in the face of nostalgia? Chocolate. Usually it's tablet or vanilla but I randomly remembered Thorntons ice cream and got wistful about their chocolate one. Walked around for a bit. Went home. It was nice. Really nice.

I'm still tired, I won't lie. But I don't want to say something sad beneath a pleasant memory, so I'll leave it at that.
